No visit to Bindara Farm Stay is complete without savoring the flavors of farm-fresh cuisine. You can prearrange with Barb (Our Host) for a meal that she cooks for you, and you eat together in the camp kitchen. We sat down together and she told us about some of the history of the area.
Barb had also started the camp fire where we sat around after our meal and boiled the kettle for coffee. This was a lot of fun, talking and laughing.
Activities to take Part in on Bindara Farm
1/ Farm Walks

Barb will take you on walking tours around the farm. We arranged for her to take us on a walking tour around the farm. This is well worth it as she tells you a lot of stories and shows you some significant areas on the farm. As you walk there are plenty of different wildflowers and wildlife. We even saw a Euro (looks similar to a kangaroo), as well as wild goats.
As we arrived at the end of the trail, Barb had organized coffee and cake before we returned back to the camping area. It was a nice spot sitting on an old gum tree log over looking the Darling River. On the way back we were pleased that we had done this in the morning as it was starting to get fairly warm.
After a rest and a bit later in the afternoon we went for a another walk with Barb to the Farm Cemetery where we learned about the people who lived and worked on the farm.
