Our Dream Of Traveling Australia:

We’re Leo and Vicki, and we’ve always had a deep connection to the beauty and serenity of Rural Victoria. For most of our lives, our adventures have centered around catching up with family on the Queensland coast or enjoying the charm of Victoria’s seaside.
Now, as we stand on the edge of retirement, we’re ready to turn our long-held dream of traveling Australia into reality. We’re excited to begin this new chapter of life, exploring the vast and diverse landscapes of our country—from its stunning coastlines to its rugged outback.

Cabins Or Caravans
We have been married for over 35 years and our children are all grown up and independent. When going on family holidays we either stayed in cabins or Holiday units.
Now there is the two off us it is time to explore Australia and the hidden Gems.
We considered to continue staying in cabins. But after our trip in a hired camper van I was convinced that maybe we should consider buying a caravan.
After a lot of research and comparing different brands as well as layouts of caravans I convinced Leo to buy a second hand caravan.
The reason we went for a second hand van was the cost and wanting to try it out.
About six weeks after purchasing our van and a few updates. We packed up the van with what we thought we would need and headed off.
I put together an itinerary that I had to alter a few times so that we could catch up with family and friends.
After traveling over 5000kms in a little over a month, we were both hooked and after arriving home started planning our next trip.
What Are The Options If You Don't Own A Caravan

How We Discovered That Exploring Downunder was for Us
From Perth to Broome: A Test of Wanderlust:
Our Inaugural Trip: Our travel adventure began with a thrilling test of how much we would enjoy life on the road.
We joined a group of fellow wanderers, hired motor homes, and ventured from Perth to Broome in Western Australia.
This memorable experience opened our eyes to the sheer beauty and awe-inspiring landscapes of the Land Down Under. From the stunning turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean to the mesmerizing sunsets over the red earth, our hearts were filled with wonder and wanderlust.
This trip, filled with camaraderie and exploration, only intensified our desire to uncover the hidden gems that await us in every corner of Australia.
